Essential oil diffusers (active/ultrasonic)

cat moderatedog moderate
Hazard
Cats lack the liver enzyme (glucuronidase) needed to break down many essential oil compounds. Active/ultrasonic diffusers disperse microdroplets that can be inhaled or settle on fur and be ingested during grooming. Oils of particular concern include tea tree, wintergreen, pine, citrus (d-limonene), cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, pennyroyal, and ylang ylang.
Notes
Signs include drooling, vomiting, tremors, wobbliness, and low body temperature.
